Dr Edward Bassingthwaite / The Healing Vet, Whole Energy Body Balance / Treebrother

Dr Edward is a healer, intuitive, medium, psychic, and holistic veterinarian. He is the founder of the Whole Energy Body balance™ Method, a profoundly healing Bodywork + Energywork modality for pets, people, and horses. Holly Lee Jones / Rian KF

Holly Lee Jones is a singer-songwriter, whose lyrics & sound flow from the ever-present inspiration of life & Love.

The album, Sacred Clearing, she found while volunteering at a healing centre (Dos Mundos) in the Peruvian Jungle, and is a transmission of her inner process of knowing Love.

In 2018 she left her family, career, home and country, in search of nothing other than what lived within. She had been in a world built from the outside-in, and it was time for Holly to take it all away and begin creating from the inside-out.

One day, at Dos Mundos, she found an old guitar which someone had left behind. It was something she kept going back to, without even thinking about it.

Little by little she realised that the tool she needed to reconnect with the internal voice was music.

She had only her voice and this guitar to work with. And when she came back to Australia, the songs that she had discovered in the jungle came too.

When the moment felt right, Holly drove to NSW to record with her friend Ian Treloar (Chango Tree) at his Cuppa Tea Studios. She played her guitar, threw in a couple of instruments that Ian had laying around, and performed the songs solo, to document this simple, raw sound.

The result was the album, Sacred Clearing, which Holly continues to share whilst travelling upon the path towards within.

 

Rian KF is a singer-songwriter whose music is derived from an ongoing commitment to practising the art of gratitude.

He is set to officially enter the music scene this August, with the scheduled release of ‘Simulation 1’, the first single from his upcoming debut album. 

This single marks the beginning of a breakthrough from a world where mental constraints and constructs once were. And the return to a world without fear, a world which rejoices, simply, in the eternal flow of life that connects All.

Uncle Sooty Welsh / Sooty Ceramics

Uncle Kevin ‘Sooty’ Welsh is a Wayilwan Elder and artist based in Coonamble, north-western NSW. Uncle Sooty’s hand-built ceramic pots and objects are inspired by cultural objects and the natural environment. His markings, etched into the clay, are linked to the designs carved into trees by his Wayilwan Ancestors.

Uncle Sooty is a member of the Stolen Generation. He was removed from his family and taken away from his Country when he was four years old. When he returned to his hometown of Coonamble as a young adult, he reconnected with his family and culture and found his voice as an artist.

Wood Carving by Willy

Willy was adopted into the Gumatj Clan, North East Arnhem Land – this is where he developed in talents with both making and playing the Didgeridoo.
Willy is coming to the festival to share his incredible carving talent and experience. As a Master Craftsman, Carpenter and Furniture Maker he has a lot to share. He will be running workshops each day of the festival, where he’ll take you through carving your own items to take home with you. Willy will also have a stall selling his stunning pieces. And, we will get to hear him play dodge.
