Travelling to the Outback Spiritual Festival.
By CAR: You can come by road from Mildura, Sydney and Adelaide.
How about a BUS!: Coach travel is available from Adelaide and Mildura.
Or a TRAIN: By train from Sydney and Adelaide with Countrylink and Great Southern Railways (Indian Pacific or Laser/XPT Sydney-Dubbo-Broken Hill).
Or come by AIR from Sydney, Mildura and Adelaide with Rex/Qantas.
It is recommended that if you are intending on heading to more remote areas around Broken Hill that you travel by 4WD.
The Festival is in August, Winter weather out this way is quite cool – low of 7 degrees/ high of 18 degrees (celsius). We recommend WARM clothes and remind you that it gets COLD overnight.
Broken Hill operates on Central Standard Time
For the duration of the Festival, there is a FREE Shuttle bus running at regular intervals from Broken Hill city. View the Shuttle Schedule for timetable.
